Y-Pack confirms partnership with ProTech Monte-Carlo

Superyacht refit protection specialist Y-Pack Protection Services has announced a new paint-treatment partnership with ProTech Monte-Carlo.

The collaboration comes after months of tests under ‘real-yachting’ conditions, with the results convincing the French firm of the long-lasting quality of ProTech’s innovative treatment.

Y-Pack cites ProTech’s 25 years’ experience in the industry, internalised research and development – with direct links to the applicators in their centres – and proven results as the key factors behind its decision.

ProTech’s 3D+ treatment is nine microns thick, acts as a protective shield and refines the deep colour, extreme glossiness and freshness of a yacht’s painted finish. ProTech is the only certified protection that does not require the use of a special product prior to paint touch-up operations.

Its repellent properties ensure the effortless cleaning of painted surfaces, with the end result lasting for longer than other available treatments.

In a release, Y-Pack noted, “Protech is revolutionising the protection of painted surfaces with a radically different treatment of ceramics, offering hydrophobic, oleophobic and anti-aging protection.”

ProTech 3D+ treatment is applied in three phases by Y-Pack’s certified technicians, using specialist superyacht equipment.
