Gyeongnam Province will see the opening of the eighth Yacht & Boat Korea and Sports Fair, ‘Yacht & Boat Korea 2015’, at Changwon Exhibition Conventional Centre (CECO) at the end of this month, between 30th April and 3rd May.
The eighth annual Yacht & Boat Korea is a certified international boat show, co-hosted by Gyeongham Province and Changwon City, and arranged by Gyeongnam Technopark, Korea New Network (KNN) and Plan De Communication, with the goal to strengthen Korea’s marine leisure and yachting industries.
Making its debut in 2007, Yacht & Boat Korea is now held once every two years, attracting around 150 exhibitors from 15 countries and 2,200 domestic and international buyers to the show.
Organisers have announced that this year’s annual show will display a wide array of yachts and boats, including sailboats, racer yachts, cruiser yachts, motor boats, power boats and fishing boats. Marine parts and equipment will also be exhibited, including engines, water pumps, electrical units, interior materials, sail sheets and wires.
The international boat show offers a mix of indoor and outdoor exhibition space, with the outdoor exhibition hall this year showcasing marine leisure products and toys, such as water skis, jet skis, rubber boats and wind surfing equipment. Additionally, Republic of Korea Navan Academy in Changwon will also be hosting a marine leisure and sporting events, like the National Yacht, rowing, canoe and wind surfing competitions.
