To celebrate the new Yachting Pages Mediterranean book 2015 – 2016, Yachting Pages Media Group has teamed up with Olloclip, to give away three Olloclip 4-in-1 camera lenses to captains and crew.
Yachting Pages Media Group specialises in products and services for the superyacht industry. The company has launched two competitions, one aimed at captains and crew and the other aimed at clients, to mark the initial distribution of its Mediterranean directory.
Michelle Williams, website and digital marketing manager for Yachting Pages explained, “This is an exciting time of year for us, so to help mark it, we’ve launched a couple of competitions.
“Captains and crew can enter by merely taking a picture of themselves with the new book and sharing it on social media with #HaveYouGotYourYP.
“Winners will be chosen at random, with three chances to win the Olloclip lens for your smartphone. I’m always taking pictures on my phone, so I think it’s a great prize for budding photographers and we’re delighted to be working with Olloclip on this.
“Our other competition is to thank clients for their support. They just have to take a picture of their advertising in the Yachting Pages Med book and share it on social media with #FindUsInYP and we’ll share it with our 15,000 followers.
“We’ve had entries for both competitions, which are great, we love looking through the images in the office and we’re grateful to Olloclip for the crew prizes.”
Last month distribution of the 33,374 Mediterranean copies started, 14,444 will be delivered by hand and an additional 5,250 at boat shows; accounting for 60% of the overall distribution run. The USA and Caribbean and Australasia versions will be available in September at the Monaco Yacht Show.
In a 2014 survey of over 500 superyachts globally, 97% had a copy of Yachting Pages on board.
The Olloclip 4-in-1 photo lens is a quick connect camera lens for the iPhone 4/5/6 with multiple lens options including fisheye, wide-angle and macro. The Olloclip slides on to the corner of the iPhone and automatically aligns itself. It works on still photos, videos and FaceTime.
