Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
As the superyacht industry leans towards a greener future, Yachting Pages Media Group is forging ahead as an environmentally conscientious media company.
Simon Brooks, hand distribution expert for Yachting Pages noticed, while packing up from the Monaco Yacht Show, that Yachting Pages were the only media group to collect their left over product stock for subsequent redistribution.
In total, approximately 600kg of materials were reclaimed, which will be redistributed to Capitaineries and other key distribution points across France and Italy during the next two weeks.
By 9.00am on Sunday 28th September, the Monaco Yacht Show organisers had removed all printed materials from all areas in Darse Sud, accounting to approximately three or four tonnes of paper matter sent as waste.
Yachting Pages Media Group endeavors to keep their environmental impact at a minimum and will continue to improve their distribution methods.
Carrie Plummer, distribution & administration manager said, “Yachting Pages main distribution hub is centered in the south of France. We are bound by French Law to declare the tonnage of our publications distributed within France and pay duties and customs (Eco Tax) on these items. This tax allows us as a business to uphold our commitment to the environment. We keep accurate records throughout the year to ensure that our declaration is transparent and accountable.”
