With the Monaco Yacht Show now behind us, attention has turned to the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (25th to 29th October 2012). Burgess will be exhibiting nine superyachts, including the BATON ROUGE from Icon Yachts and the Feadship APRIL FOOL as well as an interesting array of yachts in the 40m to 53m size category.

BATON ROUGE
2010, Icon Yachts, The Netherlands
This 62.5m motor yacht offers spacious styling over six decks - more volume than any other 62m yacht currently in commission. Exterior design is by Tim Heywood and the yacht’s interior has been designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. The vessel has multiple lounges and a choice of dining options with accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven.
BATON ROUGE is offered for sale for the first time and is represented for both sale and charter by Burgess as worldwide central agents. Price on application. BATON ROUGE is not offered for sale or charter to US residents while in US waters.
APRIL FOOL
2006, Feadship, Royal Van Lent, The Netherlands
This 60m yacht is for sale at USD 59,950,000; APRIL FOOL has recently seen a full repaint from stem to stern and also completed her Lloyds Class five year survey in 2011. Maintained by her one original owner, the yacht has seen low levels of private usage and has never chartered. Spacious interiors panelled in oak and cherrywood with a restful colour palette create a sophisticated environment for entertaining and family enjoyment. Accommodation for 10 guests is arranged in a master suite and four guest cabins. A host of other features on board include a sauna and a gymnasium, plus a guest elevator running from the lower deck guest accommodation up to the sun deck.

SUNRISE
2000, Oceanco, The Netherlands
Still under her original ownership and never chartered, the 52.8m SUNRISE underwent a substantial refit in 2010, which included a full repaint of hull and superstructure and interior upgrades. A shipyard period earlier this year saw her fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers and the reupholstering of the guest cabin areas. Her bright and contemporary interior features with limed oak panelling and accommodation for up to 14 guests is arranged in six/seven cabins.
The split-level owner’s suite offers a marble bathroom, a private study and a forward facing sleeping area with 180° aspect through one-way glass, leading out to a private owner’s deck with jacuzzi.

PASSION
1986(refit 2003, 2008/2009) Swedeship, Sweden
An extremely extensive refit was carried out on the 52.8m PASSION in 2008/2009, including the installation of zero speed stabilisers, a full paint job and a host of interior upgrades. Her interior by Dvorine Associates is casually sophisticated with mahogany panelling. She has accommodation for 12 guests arranged in six cabins consisting of a master suite, two VIP suites, a double cabin and two twin cabins.
A circular staircase connects the main saloon to the upper deck saloon which boasts a card table, full bar area, video arcade games, an air hockey table, karaoke machine, and a home theatre. Deck areas include a jacuzzi on the sundeck .

LADY ALLISON
45.7m (150ft) – 1991, Feadship Van Lent, The Netherlands
Used solely as a private yacht during their ownership years, this yacht has a wood panelled interior and five cabins to accommodate up to 12 guests. The owner’s suite is located on the main deck and boasts an ensuite bathroom and private study.
LADY ALLISON is under management with Burgess and is offered for sale by Burgess as worldwide central agents with an asking price of USD 9,900,000.
