World class superyacht marinas

Mina Rashid Marina

The first marina operated by P&O Marinas, Mina Rashid Marina is a landmark leisure and lifestyle destination that accommodates yachts, superyachts and cruise ships. Located in the historic heart of Dubai at the mouth of the Creek, the new marina is a commercial port that now boasts a waterfront destination for superyacht visitors and crew.

Spanning 13 square kilometres, the marina is being developed in phases and will include a variety of attractions, including an integrated entertainment city. The first phase launched in 2017 and features 500 berths for motor and sailing yachts between 10 and 80 metres in length – as well as 200 dry berths. Mina Rashid also offers 810 metres of quay wall, where it can host superyachts in transit in Dubai.

Once completed, the additional phases of development will allow for thousands of yachts to be accommodated.

Facing the marina is Marina Cube, a complex comprising restaurants and ship chandleries created from the renovation of real containers. Its main attraction is the Queen Elizabeth II (QE2), which offers a 13-deck floating hotel, complete with dining, entertainment and event destination facilities.

Jumeirah 1 Marina

The 40-year-old marina is strategically positioned along the brand new waterfront of Jumeirah, which is home to some of the most attractive developments in Dubai. Managed by P&O Marinas since January 2018, Jumeirah 1 Marina welcomes private yacht owners and fishing boaters, providing a total of 173 wet berths and approximately 50 dry berths.

The marina is set amongst a charming old-style village with sea-view restaurants, ship chandleries, boat and watersport equipment rentals, shops and cafes. It is surrounded by public beaches and is just a few kilometres away from modern Dubai and Downtown.

Umm Suqeim 1 Marina

The heritage of this small harbour, located along the Jumeirah coast, is linked with Dubai’s centuries-old fishing industry from which the city grew over time. Umm Suqeim 1 Marina hosts a modern fish market and fishermen’s living quarters, complete with 21st century services and facilities.

Alongside traditional fishing boats, the marina also welcomes commercial and private yacht owners who wish to moor their boats in a local harbour that offers a vibrant ambience, panoramic sea views, floating restaurants, shopping outlets and an array of watersports. Umm Suqeim 1 Marina offers 212 wet berths and 126 dry berths.

The coast guard, Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality have their base in the marina.

Umm Suqeim 2 Marina

A harbour of history equipped with a marina village, Umm Suqeim 2 Marina is strategically located along Jumeirah beach coast. It is surrounded by public beaches and Dubai’s waterfront, which attracts thousands of people to the sea every day.

The marina hosts private boats and commercial dhows, offering boat tours and a number of fishing experiences. There are 62 wet berths and 73 dry berths available, and mooring facilities for watersports and Jet Skis. The marina also proudly hosts Dubai Government Authorities.

The marina village is populated by sea-view restaurants, cafes, captain clubs, shops and retails dedicated to fishing and nautical equipment, yacht and watersport rentals, and other commercial activities.

Under the management of P&O Marinas, Umm Suqeim 2 Marina is well placed to become one of the main routes from the sea to the futuristic MGM Resort International.
