The Boatworks has a healthy respect for the standards required in all aspects of working with superyachts, listing some of the world's finest yachts and their agents among their clients. This is a testament to the vision that takes the company forward and keeps it at the forefront of the industry today.

Over the years The Boatworks has grown and changed, but has never lost sight of the original character, the essence with which it was founded.

True to their roots but with a passion for innovation, The Boatworks takes pride in the quality of work and operates with an emphasis on creating an honest and consistent dialogue with clients in order to achieve the best results.

Skilled craftsmen

A carefully selected team of craftsmen brings together a blend of skills including bespoke cabinetry, teak decking and the redesign of yacht interiors. The Boatworks has the ability to work with a wide variety of materials including stone, leather, glass and perspex whilst integrating a strong design led approach.

The Boatworks also carries out interior and exterior varnishing, whether sprayed or by brush and operates with a team of full-time, in-house craftsmen, as well as having the capacity to employ a greater number of experienced contractors on demand. This enables them to carry out both small and large projects as required.

The Boatworks is always keen to develop ideas in house and has the facility to provide hand sketched renderings and CAD drawings as well as collaborating with some of the industry's most highly regarded designers. As an extension of this they are able to produce CNC (computer numerical control) cabinetry through partners in Europe.

The Boatworks carries out new build and refit projects in Europe and the Middle-East and though based in Antibes, has the ability to undertake all manner of projects further afield as and when required.

The outdoor furniture made for us is simply stunning, the attention to detail is truly impressive. It all works brilliantly here and has made the outside space complete. Hamish had a good feel for what we wanted to achieve and has made the project is a complete success. Highly recommended!

It was always a pleasure lowering the passerelle to Hamish, Adam and the team at The Boatworks! Their professionalism to understand a job, offer a correct quotation and deliver it on time is extremely welcomed by me, especially in this industry! All departments of M/Y Flying Fox have benefitted from fine workmanship with a fine company. Can't recommend The Boatworks enough! Keep up the good work chaps!

The Boatworks are simply amazing. I have found their quality of service and workmanship to be more than satisfactory time and time again. They are a one-stop-shop for metal work, woodwork, and even ‘out of the box’ items such as small aircraft hangars!

It is this multidisciplinary ability which has made it easy to approach them with a range of different and integrated jobs for them to get on with. What I have really appreciated is their ability to come on board and work through the idea and design process, take it away, come up with professionally presented concepts, and then work to refine these before a final design is chosen and executed. And all this to the usual “I need it yesterday” yachtie time-frame.

And the best part is, it’s all done with a thumbs up and a smiley face!

I used The Boatworks to take out and replace the interior of my classic yacht while we were doing an extensive refit. They were fantastic! Always on time and on schedule and very good at what they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Going with Hamish and Adam was a great move, well informed, well organised and really into the detail. Realistic quotes / fast and accurate turnaround. More than happy to recommend them for any interior work.

I have been using The Boatworks marine carpentry for many years. In fact, i first starting using them back in the year 2000 when the business was in its infancy as a one man operation. Since then the business has matured to include the well trusted and skilled craftsmen that they offer today. I know that when i use The Boatworks i am getting a quality product delivered on time, i have never been let down on quality and functionality of their work, i could not recommend a marine carpentry firm more highly
