Octo Marine teams up with Yachting Pages during Monaco Yacht Show
This year Octo Marine are delighted to be joining forces with Yachting Pages Media Group during the 28th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show taking place in Port Hercules from the 26th to 29th September.
As the leading water treatment specialist for the marine industry, Octo Marine will be continuing to promote their campaign of THINK OUTSIDE THE BOTTLE, aiming to reduce plastic waste onboard the yachts throughout the Monaco Yacht Show by providing Yachting Pages with filtered drinking water from their terrace bar at STARS’N’BARS restaurant . Visitors will be served their choice of chilled, still or sparkling water in biodegradable cups or in one of the sought-after Octo Marine aluminum bottles.
Ashleigh West, managing director of Octo Marine, commented, “We are delighted to be partnering with Yachting Pages for this event. As a water treatment company supplying the full range of services and solutions to yachts with the management of their onboard water system, we see no reason why yachts should continue using plastic bottles onboard. We are encouraged to see other companies in the industry such as Yachting Pages joining in the campaign against plastic.”
Yachting Pages, a trusted brand helping people to search, market and communicate within the global superyacht industry, have already taken steps towards the reduction of plastic consumption with their support of the STARS’N’BARS’ Eco Angel campaign. Set to take place immediately after the show, volunteers are invited to join the Eco Angels to pick up leftover plastic waste and help raise awareness of environmental responsibility.
“We’re excited to be teaming up with Octo Marine for the Monaco Yacht Show as we take another step in making a positive environmental impact. It’s encouraging to see companies like Octo Marine campaigning for the reduction in plastic in the industry. We invite visitors to come to the terrace at STARS’N’BARS throughout the show to find out more and to sample the water,” said Steve Crowe, founder and CEO of Yachting Pages.
