YACHTING PAGES ANNOUNCES EXCITING COLLABORATION WITH HMS SPIRITS
Yachting Pages Media Group is delighted to announce a new collaboration with luxury gin connoisseur HMS Spirits.
The partnership promises to yield some exciting new projects, details of which will be released in due course.
Utilising Yachting Pages’ popularity and reach within the superyacht industry, the new relationship will take HMS Spirits’ Mary Rose Gin directly to superyacht crew as it looks to establish itself in the market.
Dan Dean, sales team leader at Yachting Pages, has worked closely with HMS Spirits’ managing director Ben Maguire on the new link up after the pair met for the first time on the Yachting Pages Terrace at Stars’N’Bars during Monaco Yacht Show in 2018.
Discussing how the relationship began, Dan said Yachting Pages’ proven track record in working with luxury spirit providers prompted Maguire to pay Yachting Pages a visit.
“The partnership was first discussed after Ben made an unscheduled visit to the Yachting Pages Terrace at Stars’N’Bars during Monaco Yacht Show last year,” he noted. “We sat down and he told me all about HMS Spirits, its aims moving forward and how they wanted a helping hand to promote Mary Rose Gin to the superyacht industry.
“Ben had identified Yachting Pages as the perfect partner to aid this progression into the market, citing a recommendation from a local provisioner and our past collaboration with Neptune Rum as the key reasons why he was keen to discuss marketing opportunities with us.
“Of course, Yachting Pages is always enthusiastic about working with exciting brands with standout products or services to offer the industry, and we’re delighted to have formalised a collaboration with HMS Spirits and its award-winning Mary Rose Gin. It is an ideal fit for Yachting Pages – and in particular our Yachting Pages Delivers service.”
Expressing his pride in connecting HMS Spirits – a brand he founded – with Yachting Pages, Ben said, “I’m very pleased to finalise a collaboration with the industry’s number one resource for superyacht captains and crew.
“I have long admired Yachting Pages and after looking from afar at its successful relationship with Neptune Rum last year – and receiving a recommendation from a trusted local business – I was totally convinced about discussing a collaboration. Our brand has a nautical theme and it seemed logical to explore a move into the world of superyachts, as we have long been confident our luxury gin would go down well with those on board.
“Dan really bought into our product and business aims, which made a collaboration really easy to finalise. We’re proud of our award-winning Mary Rose Gin and want to give the superyacht industry the chance to try it. We strongly believe working with Yachting Pages will help us to achieve our objectives.
“A plan of action has been produced and we will see it rolled out over the coming weeks and months.”
To kick off the collaboration, 1,000 miniature bottles of Mary Rose Gin have been distributed in Yachting Pages Delivers trips across the South of France and Italy in April and May.
“The product has received excellent feedback so far, with some superyacht crew having requested bottles of Mary Rose Gin from their local provisioner, which is exactly the reaction we were hoping for,” Ben added. “We can’t wait for the industry to see what we have got lined up next.”
An exciting new scratchcard competition will be launched later in the summer, providing crews aboard superyachts in Greece, France, Italy and mainland Spain with an opportunity to win a bottle of Mary Rose Gin for themselves. Yachting Pages will announce further details on the competition in the coming weeks.
The collaboration will also see HMS Spirits join Yachting Pages at future boat shows.
