Yachting Pages gets Exclusive Tour of Mansueto Group HQ

Yachting Pages Media Group enjoyed a complete tour of the Mansueto Group Italian headquarters, one of the leading provisioning and service companies in the luxury yachts market.

Recognised as a “landmark” for the sector, Mansueto Group has been dominating the provision and technical business for over 35 years. The Group provides a wide range of services ranging from technical supplies and online services, to food and beverages and rental services.

The ISA 9001 and RINA certified group has grown to a current team of 40 skilled professionals who work around the clock to provide support and assistance to captains, engineers and officers.

Luigi Spiaggi, president and CEO of provision, gave Yachting Pages a guided tour of over 5,000 sqm of facilities, visiting their four different laboratories, the garage holding their 20 trucks, the humidity-controlled wine cellar and tobacco store and the creche for employees’ children.

Steve Crowe, Yachting Pages founder and chief executive officer, commented, “It’s about ten years since I last visited Mansueto and wow the evolution is very impressive, the facilities are second to none and their range of services amazing. Stocking 80,000 bottles of wine, growing their own organic vegetables and producing their own pasta – the quality of their products and facilities is not like anything I’ve seen before, probably unique to the superyacht industry.”

Provisioning revolves around their four marvellous laboratories, each dedicated to a specific type of food – meat, fish, salami and cheese. They produce the best cuts right in front of you, all of which is cleaned, filleted and prepared according to the client’s demand. A fleet of 20 refrigerated lorries distribute the top-quality foods and drinks worldwide, from the Caribbean to the Maldives.

The group even encourage superyacht owners to visit their museum to taste the world’s finest wines, surrounded by the original corking machine and their first ever delivery truck; 35-year-old, three-wheeled Piaggo.

Yachting Pages had great pleasure exploring the eye-opening facilities of Mansueto Group. “Big thanks to Luigi, Rosy and Giacomo for the tour, their hospitality and for showing me how provisioning and yacht service and supply is done the ‘Mansueto way’,” Steve Crowe added.
