A $6.6 million renovation of Fisher Island Club’s Vanderbilt Marina has been successfully completed.
Bellingham Marine has overhauled Miami Beach’s luxury private resort, with new concrete floating docks and various infrastructure upgrades having been implemented.
As a result, access has improved and capacity has been increased for the handling of small power boats and superyachts.
Renovations to the marina allows for fluctuations in the sea levels of South Florida, as well as any other “forces of nature” that occur.
Bernard Lackner, president and chief executive, stated, “This is an exciting development for Fisher Island, as these docks are considered the best in modern moorage. Fisher Island Club is one of the world’s premier clubs, and we’re pleased to present the latest state-of-the-art facilities for our members and guests.
“Not only are these docks safer and more sustainable, but they’re also clean and sophisticated in style, guaranteeing that our new Vanderbilt Marina will retain its beauty for years to come.”
Situated off the tip of Miami Beach, Fisher Island Club provides two breakwater-protected deep-water marinas, with over 100 slips accommodating yachts spanning 76.2 metres (250 feet).
