AB145 model to be launched in summer 2015 by AB Yachts

AB Yachts, a brand of Fipa Group, a worldwide leader in the construction of fast open yachts with waterjet propulsion and sporty, aggressive lines is working on a new project which will be launched next summer.

Boasting a hull and superstructure built in lightweight materials, MTU power, MJP waterjets and new and ever larger spaces at the disposal of the owner and his guests, the AB145 is intended to maximise entertainment and relaxation on board. Large glass surfaces which irradiate the main deck with warm natural light and highly stylised approach to interior design are all driving ideas behind this new model from AB Yachts.

The deep-V planing hull is the result of a meticulous hydrodynamic study carried out by the shipyard which will enable this new model to literally fly on water at a maximum speed of 42 knots, in total absence of vibration and with perfect stability in navigation.

The spacious cockpit features a bar, lounge area with three sofas, a coffee table and a large sunbathing area, all combined in an area ideally configured to enjoy navigation from this privileged aft location and guaranteed to offer great entertainment for guests.

A large glass sliding door opens to a warm and welcoming saloon with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a lounge chair with two coffee tables. A semi-partition integrates a 55" TV screen, which separates the saloon from the dining area and features a comfortable table capable of seating 12 people.

Going further forward towards the bow, the main helm proves how comfortable navigation can be. A comfortable sofa is placed behind the helm and features cutting-edge instrumentation. 

The owner's suite is located forward and occupies the vessel's full beam. The suite is furnished with a king-size bed in a central position from which the owners can enjoy privileged views via ample glass surfaces in front of the bed, which together with large side windows, contribute to irradiate this entire area with light.

The owners can directly access their private outside deck, allowing them to enjoy the sun in complete privacy. It is also possible to open a private terrace looking out to the sea. The luxurious bathroom is fitted with a large shower and separate toilet area, as well as a spacious walk-in wardrobe completes this space exclusively reserved for the owners.

On the lower deck, there are four comfortable cabins dedicated to guests (three VIP double cabins and one twin guest cabin), all with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a well-appointed gym area with an adjacent sauna.

Even the crew area is spacious and airy, as a result of the same care and meticulousness in design used for guest areas.

There are three twin crew cabins with en-suite bathrooms and one more spacious captain's cabin with a double French bed and private bathroom.

The flybridge boasts vast dimensions too and layout options are infinite. It features the outside helm position and will guarantee great fun and entertainment for guests.

Finally, a dumbwaiter elevator connects the galley, located on the lower deck with the main deck and flybridge, thereby assuring that food and drinks can always be served quickly and safely.
