Actisense heads ‘full sail’ into 2016

After a successful 2015, leading marine electronics brand Actisense is introducing a number of new and exciting developments for 2016.

Actisense, part of Active Research Limited, provides electronic products to the marine industry worldwide and celebrated a very successful 2015. With its continued sales growth, Actisense is now set to introduce major changes to capitalise and develop the company in 2016.

In 2015, the Dorset-based company saw a sizable sales growth of 14% and won multiple business and export awards, including both national and international accolades. Following this success, Actisense has recognised the internal efforts of several members of staff, who have been promoted to more senior roles.

Promotions include Danny Thrasher who has been announced as the head of the newly formed operations team, and Mat McCartan who has been promoted to marketing manager.

Actisense has also announced the promotion of former office administrator, Maria Wright, to customer services officer, plus former production assistant Kris Raczka, to production supervisor. This internal shuffle is part of Actisense’s focused efforts to ensure the continued growth and success of the company, as it heads into 2016.

Lesley Keets, chief operating officer at Actisense commented, “After a highly successful year we wanted to give our customers increased access to our dedicated and growing team and we hope this internal restructure will help to do so.

“We know we can continue to demonstrate growth throughout 2016. We have many new products and will be working to provide an increasingly better service. We will also be opening up new commercial sectors and further developing our already pioneering brand.”

As part of focusing on developing their brand and new products in 2016, Actisense will be looking to obtain its ISO 9001 certificate. To do this the company will be improving its business efficiency and customer satisfaction by honing its company management system, reducing unnecessary costs and ensuring the quality of both processes and products.

In 2016, Actisense will also be enhancing its strategic focus. Its aims are to have a 15% growth by the end of the year and increase the number of global distributors, creating new partnerships and opportunities.
