One of the superyacht industries leading engineering companies, Advanced Mechanical Enterprises, will soon be taking part in a charity spin-a-thon, to support the Marine Industry Cares Foundation (MICF) for Kids in Distress and Children’s Diagnostic Centre.
The spin-a-thon is a fun six hour spinning bike endurance challenge and a team-building activity that offers several ways to participate. It takes place on Friday 25th April at Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Registration and check-in opens at 12:00pm and the Spinning Event starts at 1:00pm and finishes at 7:00pm.
In the sixth annual spin-a-thon, the Advanced Mechanical Enterprises team named “AME Sailor Blue” are aiming to raise $2,000 “all for the kids”.
Proceeds raised benefit programs and initiatives that help neglected or at-risk children, assist youth with special healthcare needs, support families with emergency assistance and promote the overall well-being of children.
Anyone can get involved, be it by becoming an event sponsor, by organising, by joining a spin bike team or even joining as an individual.
