In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Turkish shipyard Alia Yachts has revealed details and a video of its new 60m superyacht project, Samurai.
Calling Samurai the ‘boldest articulation of the superyacht yet seen’, she will be Alia’s newest flagship yacht. Alia describes her as having a ‘proud visual impact’ with a ‘revolutionary, patented hull form, achieving unprecedented efficiency.’
Measuring 60.2m overall, Samurai is a fast displacement motor yacht. With two MTU 16V engines, she is able to reach a top speed of 21 knots, with a cruising range of over 5,000 miles and 4,250nm at economical speed.
Samurai’s exterior design is being undertaken by Dutch studio Omega Architects. Her naval architecture will be completed by Van Oosanen & Associates, and interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon.
Samurai will hold up to 12 guests, as well as 14 crew. Her main deck comprises the owner’s suite and guest cabins, with full-height windows and a number of ‘flexible’ entertainment areas. The lower deck provides crew accommodation, as well as the main galley and tender storage. The lower deck leads to a gym and sea-level beach club for guests.
Currently, Samurai is scheduled for delivery later this year. Also launching this year, will be Alia’s 30.5m yacht, Project Nozomi.
