American owner commissions new 67m custom Benetti Project Fenestra

Italian yacht builder Benetti has announced a new order for a 67-metre (220-foot) custom superyacht, named project Fenestra, together with Northrop and Johnson who introduced the client, an experienced American yachtsman.

Being built as hull number FB278, Giorgio Cassetta created Fenestra’s exterior while the interior will be handled by Benetti’s interior style department.

Benetti CEO, Franco Fusignani, commented, “This order, following on the heels of the North American delivery of Spectre and Elaldrea+, is evidence of the American market’s growing interest in the Benetti brand.”

Fenestra will be able to accommodate 14 guests across seven cabins and a crew of 17 staff in their own quarters, finished in a similar high-end style to the guest areas. Spread across six decks, Fenestra will come complete with a 1,600-square-foot owner’s deck that includes its own lounge and bar featuring glorious panoramic views, while on the sundeck guests get to enjoy a gym, steam room and Jacuzzi. An external steering position is also located here on the uppermost deck.
