Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Italian refit and repair centre Amico&Co has unveiled a new client-focussed website, showcasing its extensive range of facilities and capabilities.
In a release, the Genoa-based yard explains that the site has a “fresh, new look” that offers the yachting industry quick and easy access to Amico&Co’s services – and is now responsive across all devices and screen sizes.
The clean design is accompanied by vastly improved functionality to enhance the user experience, and a host of rich content that, according to Amico&Co, “mirrors the skills” of the yard.
Alberto Amico, chairman and director of technical and sales at Amico&Co, commented, “As with the rest of our activities, we have particularly concentrated on client needs when re-designing our new responsive site – whether they be managers planning a megayacht refit or captains considering Genoa as a refit location.
“It’s essential that time-strapped managers can access information regarding the facilities that they are seeking with just a two-click user experience.”
Other features of the website include an illustrated 3D view of the shipyard within the Facilities section, which is equipped with various detailed and immersive multimedia elements. Elsewhere, pages that were previously buried deep within the website are now much more accessible, thanks to an overhaul of the main menu functionality.
Daniele Di Giampaolo, co-director of technical and sales at Amico&Co, added, “Whether you are a technical fleet manager searching for dry-dock solutions or a chief engineer looking for a facility for a shaft line or swinging keel repair, we want our website to be your first, and best, internet stop.
“The new site allows us to showcase not just the quality of our people and our facilities, but the fantastic city of Genoa that we’re so proud to call home.”
