Italian yacht builder Arcadia Yachts has unveiled the first model in its Arcadia Sherpa XL series. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the yard launched the eco-friendly motor yacht at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Italian design studio Hot Lab is responsible for Sherpa XL’s interior and exterior styling. The range was initially introduced at Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show in 2016, along with the original 16.8-metre (55-foot) Arcadia Sherpa shadow boat.
The 24-metre (79-foot) superyacht is available with either three or four staterooms. The master suite, which merges impeccably with the bathroom, is over 22 square metres. Complete with panoramic windows, the room is said to feel very bright and spacious.
Sherpa XL uses renewable energy, keeping its environmental impact to a minimum. The motor yacht is complete with Arcadia’s trademark solar panels that guarantee 2kW of clean energy. The vessel also features low consumption devices and LED lighting.
The superyacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 1,050 main engines, anticipated to reach a top speed of around 22 knots with a long-range speed of 10 to 12 knots, enabling her to cover a range of 1,500 nautical miles.
