Astondoa 100 Century Superyacht to Premiere in Cannes

Spanish shipbuilder Astondoa have announced that the second model in its superyacht line, the 100 Century, will makes its debut at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

Following the launch of the 110 Century last year, the new model has a unique hull and superstructure that follow a modern integrated design. While the 110 has the form of a smaller yacht, it was also built with ample volume to match its 35m LOA.

The spear shaped profile allows for high ceilings and a large main deck that extends from the aft cockpit to the master suite forward. The top deck also features generous head space despite the compressed profile, with the high bridge giving the captain substantial visibility from the pilothouse.

Cristiano Gatto designed the interiors, collaborating with the owner to create a simple, bright and elegant design. The modern saloon and formal dining area is open-plan, and features loose furniture and large stainless-steel bordered windows, for a light and natural space, complimented by grey oak panelling and a white tiled floor.

The full-beam master suite features a bedroom with large windows and waterside views, his-and-hers walk-in wardrobes, and two separate showers. Guests are below deck, in two double and two twin staterooms, complete with ensuite bathrooms.

Guests can access the bow directly from the rear deck without changing levels, and have a shaded social area under a hard top at their disposal.

Century is powered by twin 2,185 hp MTU 16V 2000 M86 diesel engines, allowing a top speed of 26 knots and a cruise speed of 22 knots.

Following the 100 Century’s Cannes premiere, Astondoa has plans to extend its superyacht series with a Century 120 and Century 130.
