Turkish yard AvA Yachts has launched the debut hull in its Kando 110 line of explorer yachts.
The 34-metre (112-foot) yacht, with a volume of 340GT and a range of 6,400 nautical miles, was launched at the yard’s Antalya facility on Friday 19th July.
AvA Yachts’ in-house design team designed, styled and engineered the explorer yacht.
Kando 110 features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She boasts four decks with five double-guest cabins, including a 27-square-metre owner’s cabin, with full-height windows, located on the main deck.
Atilla Küçükdiker, chairman and founder of AvA Yachts, commented, “Today is a proud day for myself and the immensely dedicated and highly skilled team of workers at AvA Yachts as Kando begins her life in the water. She is the culmination of a dream, of a vision, and we are honoured and humbled to be able to show her off now to the long-range cruising community worldwide.
“We have designed, engineered, and meticulously constructed her as a super strong and sturdy ship with a phenomenal commercial equipment level and superyacht interior quality and build. We welcome you on board.”
Kando is due to head to the Côte d’Azur ahead of the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, where she will be exhibited internationally for the first time.
AvA Yachts’ series of explorer yachts also includes Kando 90, Kando 120 and Kando 130.
