Awake to introduce innovative Awake RÄVIK_S to product range

Swedish electric surfboard manufacturer Awake is gearing up and expanding its portfolio by adding a more performance-oriented model to its premier product.

Daniel Aronsson, CEO of Awake, commented, “The original RÄVIK is a great product that caters to everyone who is looking for a great time on the water, no matter previous experience. What we are doing with the RÄVIK_S is to offer a more playful attribute to this experience, with high responsiveness and tighter carving.”

A significant difference in this model is the hull design, which has been developed through intensive hydrodynamic testing at the Rolls Royce testing facilities in Karlstad, Sweden.

Phillip Werner, innovations officer at Awake, said, “The RÄVIK_S offers the rider a sharper, more dynamic experience with unmatched carving capabilities. Thanks to a complete redesign of the hull, the RÄVIK_S is made for the adrenaline-hungry water sports enthusiasts who are looking for next-level performance within the electric surfboard segment.”

The RÄVIK_S will make its world premier at BOOT Düsseldorf 2020 and a limited number of beats units will be released before the production model starts hitting the market in late spring this year.
