Azimut reveals new photos and details of 35m Grande superyacht

The Italian shipyard Azimut has released new details of its latest flagship, a 35m superyacht from its Grande series.

Having launched the first hull in this series earlier in the year, Azimut debuted the superyacht at the recent event, Versilia Yachting Rendezvous. The second hull is now reported to be nearing completion. Since Azimut first announced details of the new superyacht series at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, five superyachts in the series have been sold, with the most recent at Yachts Miami Beach in February.

The Grande’s exterior design was completed by Stefano Righini, with interior design by Achille Salvagni. Her design features classic yet contemporary features, and materials such as brass, bronze and stainless steel, along with a variety of wood finishes.

Standout features on board include two beach clubs measuring 30sqm, one of which features a hydro massage pool, and sofas and sun loungers. This area can be raised when access to the winches and fender racks is required. There is a side-loading tender garage, able to hold a tender and Jet Ski, and a 30sqm raised observation deck located on the vessel’s upper deck.

Accommodation is available for up to ten guests on board, including four guest cabins below deck. The master suite is situated on the main deck, and features floor-to-ceiling glazing and a large foldout terrace. There is also a spiral staircase that features backlit onyx steps, connecting all three decks. Crew quarters are located in the bow of the yacht, able to accommodate the yacht’s six crew members.

The Grande is powered by two 2,400hp MTY 16V M93 engines, and is able to reach a top speed of 25.5 knots. Her hull has then been optimised to allow cruising speeds ranging from 10 to 21 knots.
