Bannenberg & Rowell unveils 65m superyacht concept Telex

UK-based design studio Bannenberg & Rowell has unveiled its new superyacht concept: 65-metre (213-foot) Telex.

Designed inside and out by the studio, Bannenberg & Rowell has stated that the new concept is inspired by the “thematic pillars” of active lifestyle, adventure, power and proportion, joined by the “fundamental notion of freedom.”

Simon Rowell, creative director at Bannenburg & Rowell, commented, “Our Project Telex explores the freedom that yachting can bring. Privacy, space, time and adventure, these are all rare commodities, but freedom is the rare material and the fuel; it is perhaps the ultimate luxury.”

Her lower deck stern area will feature a gym, dive shop, wellness area and optional submarine storage. The lower deck beach club, gym and spa can all be accessed via an internal staircase.

The “modern open plan furnishing style” includes a main living room, comprising a central fireplace focal point and full-height panoramic glazing, linking the interior spaces to the deck areas.

Telex’s aft deck and main living room can be opened up to merge with the pool area, creating a space of “shade and sunlight, relaxation and seating,” said the studio.

The superyacht will be able to accommodate up to 14 guests across seven rooms, four of which are located on the lower deck. Two additional guest staterooms and a master suite, boasting two balconies, are situated on the main deck. Telex will also have space for an additional 14 crew members.

Meanwhile, her wheelhouse sits on the bridge deck, while the main deck presents an observation lounge and sky lounge.
