Italian yacht group Benetti has announced that its latest yacht, M/Y Blake, is currently under construction at its shipyard in Viareggio.
Measuring 60m, M/Y Blake is the sister vessel of M/Y Vica, featuring a fibreglass hull and aluminium superstructure using new technology developed by Benetti.
Blake’s interior design is by Bannenberg & Rowell, where the team “worked on colour tones and volumes to increase the space on the boat and make it even more luminous”, according to Benetti.
Benetti describes Blake as a “true modern classic, with timeless settings defined by the careful selection of elegant materials. Brushed fir wood, dark walnut and white oak are the perfect match for Silver Travertino, Eramosa stone and polished Arabescato Vagilia. The finishings include light and dark hammered bronze, light silver, etched glass mirrors and mother of pearl mosaic.”
Standout features on board include a stern garage, able to store a 6.3m tender, along with two Jet Skis and a rescue boat in the bow. There is also a dedicated beach club located on the swim platform, and transom door that opens to form a large terrace at water level. M/Y Blake also features a sun deck with a 23m extension and surface area of 135sqm.
The lower deck houses four guest cabins, including two VIP suites with dedicated walk-in wardrobes. The private saloon located on the upper deck can then be transformed into a fifth VIP cabin.
