Benetti confirms sale of seventh Fast 125 yacht

Italian yard Benetti has announced the sale of BF107, the seventh hull in its Fast 125 range of 38.1-metre (125-foot) tri deck motor yachts. The owner is a repeat client from Turkey and is due to take delivery in 2019.

Luxury yacht architect Stefano Righini composed the “sporty” exterior styling, while the interior will be finished in eucalyptus and bay, based on the ‘AIR’ configuration developed by British studio RWD. This design combination was also utilised on the third hull in the series, Skyler (pictured above).

Key features include a spacious swim platform and adjoined bar area, and a garage with space for a tender and two Jet Skis. The upper deck offers further al fresco relaxation, equipped with a hydromassage spa pool, sofas and sun loungers.

One of the unique selling points of the Fast 125 range is its propulsion system, the Azipull Carbon 65, developed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce. Made up of steerable carbon thrusters, it takes up less space in the engine room than a traditional shaft-drive unit.

Accommodation on board is for up to 10 guests across five cabins, including an owner’s suite, three double cabins and a twin Pullman berth, while the crew quarters can accommodate up to seven staff.

Power comes from a pair of 2,636hp MTU 12V2000 M96L engines for a speed of 24 knots and a cruising range of 1,750nm at 12 knots.

Other superyacht projects currently under development at the Italian yard include the new 28.95m (95ft) Delfino 95 Series, with the first hull having launched in December 2017.
