Benetti Yachts has launched the fifth and sixth hulls in its Fast 125 series of 38.1-metre (125-foot) motor yachts, just days apart.
Built in composite materials and carbon fibre, M/Y My Way and M/Y Charade feature sporty exterior styling by Stefano Righini, with naval architecture by Pierluigi Ausonio, in collaboration with the Azimut|Benetti Research and Development Centre.
The two yachts share the same D2P_Displacement-to-Planing® hull with wave piercer, combining the benefits of a displacement hull at low speed with those of a high-performance planing hull.
Power then comes from twin 2,600hp MTU 16V2000 M94 diesel engines and an advanced Rolls-Royce Azipull C65 propulsion system to give a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of 18.5 knots.
In a recent release, the Italian shipyard said, “The new propulsion units are the main feature of Fast 125’ models, allowing for better distribution of the space on board, while maintaining high-propulsion efficiency, excellent handling and ease of maintenance.”
With a length of 38.1 metres and a beam of 8.23 metres (27-foot), both yachts have a layout that extends over four decks. The owner’s suite and a lounge with dining area are located on the main deck, while another smaller lounge sits on the upper deck. Four VIP cabins are located on the lower deck.
Both yachts’ sundecks will be given over entirely to entertaining guests, who will be able to choose between two swimming pools; one on the sundeck and another larger one in the bow of the upper deck.
The sisterships have interior design by RWD and both are fitted out with the ‘Air’ configuration; the most contemporary of three available options named Air, Land and Sea.
BF105 and BF106 will be delivered to their owners in the coming weeks.
