In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Italian yard Benetti has launched FB275, its third and final 100-metre-plus superyacht during a private ceremony at its Livorno facility.
After begin moved from her outfitting shed, the 108-metre (354-foot) yacht touched water for the first time yesterday (28th March) at a ceremony hosted by president and founder of the Azimut-Benetti Group Paolo Vitelli and Benetti Business Line chief executive Franco Fusignani.
Few details are known about FB275 at this stage, though it has been confirmed that RWD was responsible for her exterior design while Benetti’s in-house team undertook the interior styling.
RWD yacht designer Adrien Chisnell noted that design work began on the yacht over 10 years ago and represents the firm’s largest exterior project to date. The result is an exterior silhouette that is described as “elegant, elongated and timeless”
While information on her interior design is limited, the yacht’s captain did share that she is “clean and light to the owner’s wishes”.
Built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the superyacht has a beam of 14.5 metres, spans five decks and features a 4,000GT volume.
Key features include 1,000 square metres of exterior space, which incorporates an observation deck, 1.5-metre fire pit and heated swimming pool on the main deck. Two tenders up to 14 metres can be stored on the foredeck, while there is also space for another 10-metre tender to be stowed in the yacht’s lower-deck garage, alongside up to eight Jet Skis.
Power comes from two MTU diesel engines for a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. Sculpted with the ability to cruise for long distances without needing to refuel, FB275 has a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 14 knots.
This launch of FB275 completes Benetti’s trio of 100-metre-plus superyacht builds, following on from the launch of FB277 in December 2018 and FB272 in February of this year.
