A jacket completes any crew member's uniform so it's an important garment to get right. In this Tried & Tested, Sea Design pits eight popular jackets against one another to determine which one is best for superyacht crew in 2023.
Yachting Pages Media Group is preparing to launch its biggest Mediterranean directory in eight years, which comes equipped with 16 new marinas, enhanced map listings and improved green credentials.
The 16th edition is bigger, better and greener than ever before, aligned with Yachting Pages’ eco aims for the year ahead.
Showcasing superyacht services across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Yachting Pages Mediterranean 2019-20 directory will be available for the first time from 18th April.
The brand new book will include 23,000 listed suppliers and services, and detailed port and marina maps for superyacht crew cruising the territory, supplementing the media group’s renowned superyacht directory website Yachtingpages.com and the Yachting Pages App.
Boasting a cleaner look and feel, the industry-leading superyacht directory this year features clearly defined map information to help owners and crew get the information they need.
SYM Superyacht Management and Nautech Group are proudly sponsoring the directory's front cover and spine for a third year in a row, while Yachting Pages’ long-term relationship with Lürssen continues, with the shipyard in place on the back cover for the 15th consecutive year.
The first copies will be hand-distributed to superyacht crews in the South of France from 18th April via Yachting Pages’ hand-delivery service, Yachting Pages Delivers (YPD). Copies will also be delivered directly to superyacht crews across the Mediterranean on YPD distribution trips in Mallorca, Italy, Spain and Greece along with marketing materials and product samples for its clients.
As well as hand deliveries, Yachting Pages will also be distributing copies of its directories throughout the year during its attendance at boat shows and events including Palma Superyacht Show, Cannes Yachting Festival, Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, to name but a few.
Those unable to attend a boat show can enquire about obtaining a copy from a Yachting Pages stockist, or request a copy via email.
Underlining the brand’s continued efforts to be greener, this year’s book has, for the first time, been printed on sustainable, and responsibly sourced paper by Italian publishers L.E.G.O. Once again, the 2019-20 Mediterranean directory is fully recyclable.
Steve Crowe, Yachting Pages Media Group founder and CEO, commented, “We are excited to launch our bigger, better, greener Yachting Pages Mediterranean directory later this month. It is our biggest book for eight years, highlighting the high level of print usage within the superyacht industry, our continued popularity and the return on investment when advertising with us.
“In line with Yachting Pages’ eco-conscious ethos, we have made a concerted effort this year to ensure our directories are sustainably produced and fully recyclable. Our distinctive pink book is easily recognised throughout the Med as the best superyacht resource for captains and crew.”
The media group’s two other regional directories, Yachting Pages USA, The Americas & Caribbean and Yachting Pages Australasia, Asia-Pacific & Far East will be available in late August 2019, with the booking deadline for advertising set in June.
