Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
UK-based charity Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE) has announced that planning for the fourth edition of its annual charity cycle ride from London to Monaco is well underway and shaping up to be the best year yet.
This year’s ride, organised by Just Pedal, will run over eight days departing from London on Tuesday 17th September before making its way south through four countries and finishing in Monaco on Tuesday 24th September.
Founded in 2016, with long-standing partner Winch Design, London to Monaco was launched in a bid to help raise awareness and funds to support BLUE’s global conservation efforts. In three years it has raised over £1 million for ocean conservation projects around the world.
Tiffany Cromwell, Canyon-Sram pro cyclist, previously mentioned, “It was the best charity ride I’ve ever taken part in. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a challenge who also cares about our ocean.”
