Burgess and Inwards Marine completes Italy’s largest berth sale

Burgess and Inwards Marine have announced the sale of a 125m by 25m berth at Marina Genova Aeroporto, in Genoa, Italy - the largest berth in this prestigious marina.

This sale represents one of the largest berth sales in recent times in the western Mediterranean and is certainly the largest berth ever sold in Italy, reaffirming Marina Genova Aeroporto’s standing as a first-class superyacht marina facility for owners, guests, captains and crew.

With the ever-increasing number of 80m plus yachts currently under construction, demand for large yacht berths in strategic locations will continue to increase whilst availability remains limited.

Rupert Nelson, sales director of Burgess in Monaco, who represented the buyer commented, “With at least 15 new orders of 100m+ yachts scheduled for delivery within the next few years, these extremely large berths with attractive leaseholds are becoming prime real estate and are a serious factor for owners and captains to consider very carefully.”

Marina Genova Aeroporto can accommodate over 100 yachts from 25m to 100m+ with a lease until 2052 and is ideally located just 75 nautical miles from Monaco and 20 nautical miles from Portofino.
