Camper & Nicholsons joins forces with Ruea Yachts

Camper & Nicholsons International has joined forces with Ruea Yachts to promote the DU Voyager 50m and the CDR 43m. The Bangkok based shipyard is fast becoming known for using cutting edge techniques and innovative designs in their yacht construction. Collaborating with two of today’s most exciting design companies, Cor D’ Rover and Design Unlimited, they have created two visionary projects; an eclectic and modern 50m, by Design Unlimited; and a stylish and classic 43m, by Cor D’ Rover.

Ruea Voyager Series by Design Unlimited and the CDR Series by Cor D’Rover will include a 30m, 40m and 50m superyacht. Design Unlimited’s Ruea Voyager 50 and Cor D’Rover’s Ruea 43 was showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show this year.

The DU Voyager 50 comprises of a private full beam owner’s suite with drop-down balconies each side as well as a stylish glass ceiling, stateroom and his and hers walk-in wardrobes.  There are four further guest cabins and accommodation for 10 crew.  The exterior features include; a transverse tender and jetski garage, a beach deck with folding aft bathing platform and a sky deck with spa pool.

The CDR 43 combines a classic style with highly innovative technologies to bring a sleek and sophisticated yacht to the market.  This model includes an exceptional aft Jacuzzi pool and all round utilization of glass to create a stunning external profile, while allowing light into all areas of the yacht.

The concept of these yachts characterises the high-tech luxury styling that Ruea Yachts can produce at very competitive costs, due to its base in Thailand. These original designs can be further customised to the exact specifications and preferences of owners

With both projects ideally suited to Ruea Yachts’ facilities, experience and expertise, these designs promise to deliver unique superyachts that not only bear the owner’s hallmarks but also set a new benchmark in terms of quality and design for yachts in the region.

Camper & Nicholsons’ expertise has been enlisted for the marketing of both designs. Simon Turner, central agent for the sale of these projects explained, “I am delighted to be involved in bringing to the market these two very special designs. I believe that they bring a fantastic opportunity for a new yacht owner to invest in unique yacht concepts which can be built in a short lead time.”

Gareth Twist, managing director of Ruea Yachts commented, “The market is buoyant and there is increasing demand for bespoke yachts which are both extremely high quality in terms of finishing and yet still represent good value for money. It is great to be partnered with such an established brand as Camper & Nicholson’s on these projects.”
