Canados reveals new 969 Coliseum design

During the recent Cannes Yachting Festival, Italian yacht builder Canados presented a range of new models to join its luxury yacht lineup; including the new 24m luxury yacht Coliseum, designed by Marco Casali.

The inspiration behind the design was to offer clients a wide range of high-end superyacht amenities within a manageable platform large enough to accommodate up to 10 guests. A beam of 6.62 metres means guests are provided with ample interior space and sufficient room on deck for outdoor leisure and entertainment.

Inside, the master suite on the main deck benefits from large windows that flank each side of the cabin, with an additional forward-facing view through a curved section of glass overlooking the foredeck seating area. Below deck, a further six to eight guests can be accommodated, depending on the client’s chosen layout.

The stern area of the yacht has been divided into two areas, providing storage space for a tender and two Jet Skis.

As standard, the 969 will be equipped with twin 1,900hp engines to deliver a top speed of 26 knots. Alternatively, clients can opt for a more powerful package of two 2,600hp engines in order to reach a top speed of 30 knots.
