Spanish design studio Castlemain International has revealed a new superyacht series ahead of Monaco Yacht Show, which begins today (26th September). Named the ‘Beyond Superyacht Series’, the new collection boasts a unique aft and transom configuration, which features a split-level swimming pool.
Castlemain International has stated that the studio’s main focus is now on large yachts – in particular new yacht design, development and construction, as well as the supply of consultancy to shipyards.
The ‘Beyond Superyacht Series’ starts at 50 metres (164 feet) and offers five designs across five size categories, all of which are adaptable to the preferences of the client and the technical platforms of the builder. Alongside the 50-metre – which sits just under the 500GT threshold – is a 62-metre (203-foot), a 68-metre (223-foot), a 72-metre (236-foot) and an 82-metre (269-foot).
The series is characterised by sleek exterior styling, which was implemented by renowned superyacht designer Christopher Seymour, who is also responsible for the exterior styling of Fincantieri’s Griffin series along with Castlemain International. On board, the interior styling will be created by Guido de Groot, who will hone the design to the owner’s preferences.
The aft deck and transom concept features a split-level pool, which links the aft deck to the bathing platform, connected by a waterfall to the aft lower deck. This, like all elements on board, can be altered to the desires of the owner.
