CAYAGO Americas Inc. donates more than $20,000 to non-profit organisations

Beginning at the Virtual Palm Beach Boat Show and throughout the month of June, CAYAGO Americas Inc. has donated a portion of proceeds from all SEABOB sales to Florida-based charities.

Over this period of six weeks, CAYAGO Americas Inc. raised a total of $23,100 (c. £18,500) for the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation, Task Force Dagger Foundation, Poverello Food Center, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicating hours of work to save the lives of those impacted by breast cancer by supporting scientific research, providing education, and advocating for awareness.

Task Dagger Force provides assistance to wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations Command members and their families. This organisation responds to urgent needs, conducts rehabilitative therapy events, and provides health solutions for service members.

Mark Stephens, chairman of the executive board at Task Force Dagger Foundation, said, “It is a difficult time for non-profit organizations and like many other charities, Task Force Dagger Foundation has been impacted financially by the pandemic, especially with the cancellation of major fundraising events.

“This promotion has been a tremendous opportunity for Task Force Dagger in terms of exposure for the organization and fundraising.”

The Poverello Center, Inc. has provided nutritious food for individuals living with critical and chronic illnesses in South Florida for over 30 years.

Shriners Hospitals for Children provides advanced care and procedures for orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and other complex health care needs. The organisation has locations all over North America, including Tampa, FL.

Javier Ripoll, director at Citimarine Group, noted, “I believe this is an excellent opportunity to support our community, especially the organisations that are involved directly in this programme. There are many causes that need help and support to carry out their missions.”
