Italian yard Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) has delivered the first in-build photograph of its latest 102 Flyingsport yacht, which is due to hit the water in 2018. The 31-metre yacht showcases a vibrant red exterior finish on both the hull and superstructure.
Building work on the sixth hull in the series began on speculation with the project sold to an American couple in November. According to the shipyard, interior designer Tommaso Spadolini has developed an American-style layout throughout, with a country kitchen-style galley on the main deck.
Her al fresco relaxation options include a large circular foredeck seating area with sunpads forward. The superyacht sundeck measures 28 metres square and comes with an extendable dining table, barbecue and further sunbathing space.
The RINA-class 102 Flyingsport will offer accommodation for up to eight guests across four cabins, arranged as a master suite, a VIP and two twins, while the crew quarters allows for a staff of three people.
She will be powered by a pair of 2,600hp MTU diesel engines, twinned with ZF Searex surface drives, for an exceptional top speed of 40 knots and comfortable cruising at 30 knots.
Other superyacht projects currently under development at CCN include the 27-metre Fuoriserie yacht Freedom, due to be delivered to fashion designer Roberto Cavalli in summer 2018.
