In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced a record number of projects in its construction book.
The company has 10 projects currently under contract measuring between 31 and 43 metres (102 to 141 feet) – and spanning a total length of 368 metres.
Current projects include the Nauta Air 110' Mimi La Sardine and the Darwin 102' Tenggiri, which are both set for delivery later this year. CdM delivered the 32-metre yacht Gatto earlier this year.
Gabriele Virgili, chairman and majority shareholder of Cantiere delle Marche, said, "Thanks to them and to our committed and passionate management, Cantiere delle Marche has a solid double-digit growth and its production is growing in both figures and quality.”
Next year is set to see the delivery of the yard’s largest yacht to date, the 42.8-metre K42 project, which will be named Audace. The 37.5-metre Acciaio 123' Astrum is also set for delivery in 2019.
In 2020, the Italian shipyard already has four deliveries scheduled. All four superyachts measure between 39 and 40 metres, and three of them were unveiled earlier this year – the 39.5-metre Spadolini designed explorer yacht project CP, the 40-metre project MG 129 and lastly the 40-metre flexplorer project Aurelia. The newest project on the list is the Acala 2, which is a one-off 39-metre project.
CdM also has two new projects pencilled in to launch in 2021 – the 34-metre Darwin 112 project named Alma and an as yet unnamed 31-metre Darwin 102 project.
