Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
The Superyacht Cup in Palma de Mallorca (19 to 22 June) will feature sixteen yachts from well known shipyards, with four of them being members of the Claasen fleet.
The yachts built by Claasen are the 27.50 m Atalante, the 23.80 m Heartbeat, the 35.20 m F-class Racer sailing yacht Firefly and the renowned J-class yacht Lionheart, which recently came second in St Barths Bucket Regatta.
Claasen Shipyards is also a main sponsor of the event and are sending a team to the Superyacht Cup to report directly on the races via their website and social media channels.
