New renderings released of 40m Naucrates 130 concept

Cantieri Navali Chioggia has revealed new renderings for its 40-metre (131-foot) superyacht concept, Naucrates 130.

Designed in collaboration with Italian studio Green Yachts, Naucrates 130 is the larger-scale evolution of her predecessor, the Naucrates 88, with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.

Designed to provide tranquil cruising conditions in even the most adverse weather conditions, the concept has a high bow and wider-than-average beam of 10.26m to keep her stable, even when her stabilisers are not operating. Side falcons are made of transparent material to allow her guests protection from the elements while enjoying the views out.

According to Green Yachts, she has “a powerful, resistant construction” that, thanks to its slender form, recessed windows and elaborate superstructure, “maintains a graceful and light appearance”. She has “elaborated harmonic geometries that relate well to each other”, with cut and bevelled surfaces, glazed inserts and functional external spaces.

As such, her notable features include a full-beam main deck and large aft area with infinity swimming pool that can be covered to provide more space for sunbathing, entertaining or a touch-and-go helipad. Sundeck amenities include a central bar, large C-shaped sofa, canopy and freestanding furniture.

Her stern area also houses a large garage for tenders and toys or a gym and fitness area, thanks to her large tailgate.

Accommodation is for up to 10 guests across five staterooms, made up of three VIP suites and two double cabins. Her interior décor is fully customisable by her new owner, using either their own designer or one of three studios lined up by the shipyard for different designs.
