Coast New Zealand appoints agent in The Netherlands & Belgium

Coast New Zealand, specialists in handmade luxury luggage, textiles and furnishings for the superyacht industry have announced the appointment of Gate PR as their agent for The Netherlands and Belgium.

Established in 2003, Coast New Zealand designs and manufactures a full range of superyacht lifestyle products including canvas luggage, leather accessories, indoor and outdoor bean bags, blankets, cushions and towels. The entire product range focuses on a luxury brand that is specifically developed to withstand the marine environment and offer timeless aesthetics and style.

The appointment of Gate PR, based in The Netherlands, forms part of Coast New Zealand’s continuous expansion within the superyacht industry. It supports their dedication to the Dutch superyacht market and client base providing them with local representation and more importantly a more local point of contact for their customers.

Nicola Webster, owner and founder of Coast New Zealand commented, “We are very excited to form this association with Gate PR. As our business continues to grow worldwide, appointing key agents is crucial in terms of our expansion and ensuring accessibility to our products. Having Gate PR represent our product lines in The Netherlands and Belgium enables us to offer a significant part of our target market and client base real time communications and local customer service.”

With the majority of their products handmade in New Zealand using the most enduring marine grade fabrics, the products emulate the high quality and workmanship that has gone in to their development, design and finish. Across the range, the products appeal in both use and style with the range of bags proving as popular with owners and guests as the blankets and cushions are with designers.

The award-winning Marine Bean® outdoor beanbag remains the first choice for many superyachts. With its uniquely comfortable shape, it is ideal for relaxing on deck, easy to clean and store, can withstand prolonged exposure to the elements and yet is elegant enough to complement the interior and exterior design. The Isla and Marine Bean collections are also available in the recently Design Excellence Award winning Sunbrella® Heritage Fabric which is softer to touch, hardwearing and highly resistant to fading and deterioration.

Coast New Zealand’s involvement in the superyacht industry has spanned the last eleven years supplying luxury products and bespoke design services to yachts worldwide, including high profile projects such as the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series. The quality, customisation possibilities and design options make the range the ideal choice for the industry and are features which have also led to the products being selected for various luxury hotels and resorts around the globe.

Sarah Flavell, owner of Gate PR said, “I am delighted to be working with Coast New Zealand. They have a true understanding of what is expected in a product for the superyacht industry, not just from technical and practical aspects but also in terms of meeting the end user’s expectations. Their entire product range is ideally suited for the industry and I am excited to be part of the company’s expansion in to Europe.”
