Columbus Yachts introduces the Liberty Line

Columbus Yachts, a brand of the Italian shipyard, Palumbo Group, recently announced the launch of their new line of yachts; the Columbus Liberty line, which will range from 33m to 38m in length.

As the name suggests, the Liberty yachts have been specifically designed by Marco Casali of Too Design to give as much open deck space as possible with ample opportunity for al fresco living. Each will also make use of the Siemen’s Eco-Prop system, which will allow them to cruise at 12 knots with notably low fuel-consumption, while still achieving speeds of over 20 knots.

Built in aluminium, each yacht in the range will offer plentiful opportunity for customisation, with the sundeck available to be constructed with or without hardtop. Interior guest areas have also been designed in such a way to offer clients a selection of different layout possibilities, one of which includes the option to have a galley within the main salon.

The main deck has been created with full-length windows, allowing ample natural light into the salon, and offering uninterrupted views out, with a large dining table for up to 14 guests found aft of the deck.

There is a swimming pool with a forward-facing seating area and space for toys and tenders on the foredeck, while the large beach area to the stern can be opened up to the ocean by sliding glass doors that lead out onto the swim platform.
