A jacket completes any crew member's uniform so it's an important garment to get right. In this Tried & Tested, Sea Design pits eight popular jackets against one another to determine which one is best for superyacht crew in 2023.
Italian yard CRN has launched its new 62-metre (203-foot) superyacht: the CRN 137.
Stefano de Vivo, CEO of Ferretti Group, spoke at Miami Yacht Show 2020, explaining that the customised yacht sports a “contemporary, fantastic design”.
Nuvolari Lenard worked in collaboration with the yard’s in-house technical facility to design the superyacht inside and out at CRN’s Ancona facility.
The yard has revealed that CRN 137 features “the unmistakable all-Italian style of Nuvolari Lenard,” with “rakish yet harmonious lines that seem to be shaped by the wind.
“The bow is vertical, not to follow the current trend, but to ensure maximum length in the water, thereby increasing speed and maximising the forward volumes, where the tender garage is located.”
CRN 137 can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a raised owner’s deck which boasts direct access to the al fresco dining area aft and the panoramic observation lounge forward.
The superyacht will be powered by two 2,011hp MTU 12V 4000 engines for a top speed of 16 knots.
The owner is unable to release any images of the finished superyacht, due to the owner’s wishes.
