CRN reveals 50m M/Y Superconero concept

Italian shipbuilder and brand CRN, part of the Ferretti Group, have unveiled the concept for their newest bespoke design, 50m M/Y Superconero, currently under construction and predicted to launch next winter.

Named after the historic Superconero of the 1960s, the vessel has been designed and engineered by CRN’s Engineering Department in collaboration with design firm Zucoon International Project, who took care of the exterior profile and the interiors alongside CRN’s Interiors & Design Department.

According to the shipbuilders, the 500gt steel and aluminium displacement vessel features all the cutting edge technical and design solutions available at CRN. These include a balcony that can be used while cruising, and an opening sea terrace for use at anchor.

The 8.6m beam yacht also features an aft beach club and a float-in tender garage that can open up and link together to create a wide water level lounge spreading uninterrupted across the two areas. Her large interior volume is complemented by an extensive use of glass and full height windows for optimal ocean views.

The interiors follow a Liberty style theme - a Sicilian specific Art Nouveau style developed at the end of the 19^th century that follows curvaceous forms, non-representative designs, and floral motifs, named in homage to the designs of Liberty & Co, London’s renowned department store. To emulate this style, Superconero features sumptuous furnishings, smooth lines, and handmade decorative details throughout.
