Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts has delivered its 24.4m custom sailing catamaran, Diana.
Diana is the sixth hull in the yard’s Sunreef 74 series, and first sailed last month in Gdansk, before being delivered to skipper Ian McIntosh yesterday (21st November). Diana will now head towards the Mediterranean, to her new owner, before heading towards the Caribbean and Pacific in 2017.
A carbon mast and in-boom furling system form part of Diana’s rigging, as well as a large overlapping genoa for upwind performance, and furling spinnaker for enabling downwind performance. She also features two 240hp engines for auxiliary power, with a draft of 1.9m.
Standout custom features on board Diana include a shaded upper deck with a spa pool, space for two tenders, a rowing machine and a spear gun locker for deep-sea fishing. Her main deck has separate lounging and dining areas, finished in oak, beige and white tones.
Adrien Jousett, naval architect at Sunreef Yachts commented, “We had the chance to test the boat in a wide range of wind and sea conditions. Diana is a fantastic worldwide cruiser and can withstand any kind of weather and sea state.”
