Following recent marina developments in Turkey, Croatia and Greece, D-Marin is now expanding its network to 11 marinas in total by making a new investment in Montenegro, announcing that it has signed a management agreement with Dukley Marina Budva, located in Montenegro.
Accordng to D-Marin Marinas, “We are delighted to have signed a management agreement last month with Dukley Marina Budva in Montenegro. As a result, D-Marin is now actively operating in four countries with 11 marinas in total. With this agreement, D-Marin, thanks to the knowledge and experience it accumulated in the marina industry over the years, undertakes the management of a marina for the first time.”
With this new investment, D-Marin will be operating in the Eastern Mediterranean region with a capacity to berth 8,570 yachts.
Dukley Marina Budva is set against the backdrop of the historic Old Town of Budva, and with 300 berths, accommodates yachts up to 70m LOA. The marina is located next to numerous restaurants, wine bars and boutiques, as well as a farmer’s market and the Durmitor National Park.
Budva itself is one of the Adriatic’s oldest settlements and is dubbed one of Montenegro’s ‘trendiest resort destinations’ with cobblestoned streets, a cultural collection of medieval cathedrals and ancient facades.
D-Marin also commented that, in the forthcoming period, it plans to continue to expand its marina network in the Mediterranean region.
