Dates announced for the 2015 Riviera Festival of Boating

This morning, Riviera has announced the dates for the fourth annual Riviera Festival of Boating to be held on Australia’s Gold Coast on 21st to 24th May 2015.

The festival, which shares the date with the 2015 Gold Coast International Marine Expo, will bring together the global Riviera family of owners and enthusiasts in Queensland, providing a truly unique event that offers ‘the ultimate boating experience’.

This year, at the Riviera factory in Coomera, Queensland, there will be over 70 educational seminars, practical workshops and social events across the four-day event, ideal for those seeking practical knowledge and skill development in the industry.

Talks will cover the fundamentals of anchoring, line-tying and charting a journey, right through to harnessing the full power of the latest technology and advanced marine navigation systems aboard the new Riviera and Belize models.

Also on display in a $15 million red carpet on-water showcase will be the new luxury range of Riviera and Belize yachts.

This popular event famously ties in the non-profit Gold Coast Marine Expo, which takes place on the remainder of the Riviera site, in addition to other key locations throughout the Gold Coast Marine Precinct, which is home to the biggest pleasure boat shipyards in Australia.

With the Riviera factory standing at 14 hectares, festival-goers will tour the venue via a train ride or air-conditioned coach with a full narration following the work of the 430 Riviera designers and engineers in creating the luxury yachts.

The Festival of Boating is a celebration of all things marine, and part of the brand’s commitment to helping people to stretch their sea legs and experience the pleasure of blue-water cruising.
