Design Unlimited releases latest Johnson 115 details

Superyacht design studio Design Unlimited has unveiled new details about the 35-metre (115-foot) Johnson 115 superyacht of Taiwanese shipyard Johnson Yachts.

The yard’s flagship vessel was first revealed at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last year.

Design Unlimited has unveiled new details regarding the superyacht’s interior, which will feature two cabin layout options; presenting either five or six guestrooms, accommodating 10-12 guests.

A comforting lounge area will feature on the main saloon, alongside a contrasting formal dining space. Interior living spaces create a relaxed yet social atmosphere.

Mark Tucker, Design Unlimited founder, commented, “The Johnson 115 benefits from our extensive experience in the design of custom superyachts, as well as our production build knowledge.”

Bill Dixon of Dixon Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior design which will comprise a plumb bow and tri-deck profile including large windows, all protected by bulwarks inlaid with glazing.

The vessel will boast a sizable hydraulic swim platform, a beach club as well as a variety of open-air entertaining areas, such as a sky lounge, foredeck area and wide aft deck on the top level.

Andy Huang, Johnson Yachts president, stated, “In recent years, we’ve been getting quite a few enquiries about building tri-deck superyachts. It’s time for us to come up with a stunning new breed of yacht that will fascinate the world.”
