Yachting Pages has put several of the leading safety cases (and other associated products) to the test. The objective: to ascertain how each product performs and determine which one is best equipped to safely contain a lithium battery-induced fire.
Dynamic Marine Systems (DMS Holland), international specialists in the field of motion control on board yachts, has moved to a new facility near the city of Den Bosch in the Netherlands.
Extending over three floors, the new headquarters features various offices and meeting rooms as well as a workshop with a warehouse.
Located on the top floor is a 100-square-metre modular showroom, accessed by a large scissor lift. Numerous demonstration models can easily be transported in and out of the showroom, and used for various exhibitions that DMS participates in.
Arnold van Aken, head of development and new projects at DMS, commented, “Given that our company is scaling up considerably with the production of MagnusMaster systems, we decided to already make provisions for a production space.
“In the future we will be able to carry out the assembly of the systems in-house as opposed to outsourcing this as we currently do. This will give us even more control over the production process, quality and delivery times.”
Patrick Noor, head of sales and marketing at DMS, added, “We are very happy with these huge and wonderful steps that reflect the fact that this company is growing in a very healthy way.”
