Leading marine equipment manufacturers, Dometic Marine, has recently announced the appointment of Gustaf Hamrén to manage the expanding sales for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket products in Turkey.
Effective from July 2015, key account manager, Hamrén is now handling the company’s original equipment portfolio in the country, as well as managing sales and technical enquiries from the local distributor, to strengthen Dometic’s operations.
He will focus on promoting marine original equipment from Dometic brands, including Cruisair, Marine Air Systems, SeaLand, Sea Xchange and Dometic Ship Wide Ventilation, for the entire Turkish market.
Hamrén commented, “With its focus on building larger sailing and power crafts, the region has become an important customer of Dometic. There is also a strong aftermarket demand through the extensive marina network around Turkey’s coast, which attracts boat owners from all over Europe.
“My task is to provide greater technical focus to widen this exciting market while working with our Turkish distribution. With the support from our UK office, I really look forward to the opportunity of building this market for Dometic Marine products.”
Julien Le Feuvre, head of marine OEM – EMEA commented, “Gustaf’s appointment will further strengthen Dometic’s position as a leading engineering and system solution partner for the industry in Turkey which is a very important region for us.
“His main focus will be to grow the sales in this area and to promote our OE product portfolio locally.”
