The 27.5m motor yacht Kalliente has been launched by Italian yard Dominator. She will undergo sea trials before making her public debut at the 2017 Cannes and Monaco yacht shows.
Designed by Alberto Mancini, Kalliente can accommodate 10 guests in five guest suites, with cabins for three crew. Mancini provided both the interior and exterior design with a focus on sleek and modern elements; the yacht showcases contemporary design materials featuring backlit white onyx, ebony, and zebrano.
Angela Pernsteiner, managing partner at Dominator Yachts, said, "The entire Dominator design, engineering and construction team has put blood, sweat and tears into creating a yachting revolution and we are proud that this has been rewarded by the market."
Dominator has also worked with Reintjes to develop a counter-rotating propeller system that will add to the smoothness of the ride.
Built in Epoxy Carbon to MCA standards, Kalliente is powered by twin 1,200hp MAN V8 diesel engines to a top speed of 21 knots, with a cruising range of 1,700nm at 10 knots.
