In the realm of maritime luxury, the quest to offer yacht charter guests the perfect night's sleep has become an art form, one which luxury bed and linen supplier, CC Design, has fully committed to.
e3 Systems, a leading communications integrator in the yachting industry, has announced the appointment of new airtime director, Andrew Francis.
After undertaking several senior positions across companies in the maritime VSAT industry, as well as creating and running his own UK communications business, Francis has a wealth of experience to lend to his new role.
Roger Horner, group CEO of e3 Systems said, “Andrew has a very strong background in business development and excellent working relationships with senior executives with many of them main satellite companies and antenna manufacturers. He brings extensive VSAT experience and a fresh approach to e3 at a time when we are focussing our efforts on providing integrated communications solutions for our clients.”
Francis’s appointment follows the move of Tony Holland, the previous airtime director of e3 Systems, who was with the business for 11 years; he is now relocating to Brazil in order to set up a new company under the umbrella of grupoarbulu, the major shareholder of e3 Systems.
Francis said, “I am delighted to be joining e3 at such an exciting time in the maritime communications market. I have known of e3 since they put the first VSAT system on a yacht and the company continues to push the boundaries. It’s great to be part of such a forward thinking team.
The e3 Systems portfolio includes a diverse selection of communication services for the yachting and maritime industries, including VSAT, Inmarsat, Iridium, 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi.
